Genre- The Genre of this film is action/adventure with a little bit of thriller. The poster tells us this because of the way Superman is standing he looks like he is about to start flying which could possibly be giving out a lot about this movie.

Conventions Of a Movie poster- They have put in a title at the bottom which is clear and bold. It has a central image of Superman giving direct eye contact with the audience which is very effective.


Target Audience- The target audience for this film would probably be for most teenagers so i would give this film an age certification of 12A.

Film Promotion- This promotion of this movie was successful because the poster looks very organised and detailed.Even though it is detailed it doesn't give out too much about the movie.

Over The Shoulder Shot: This Is called the over the shoulder shot because it is literally over a shoulder shot. The effect of this is when two people are having a conversation you have the point of view from the listeners eyes.

 Extreme Close Up: This is called an extreme close up because the image of the person is zoomed in. The effect of this image is that you can see the person emotion in they're eyes.

Close Up: This is a close up image which shows the characters Facial Expression. This also shows the characters emotion and a better view on  
what they are doing.

Wide Shot/Establishing Shot: This is a wide shot. This shot gives a good image of the characters and there surroundings.

Why I Chose Media Studies?

I chose media studies because I Thought It Would be a fun and exciting subject. My Hobby Of Taking of taking photos and editing on Photoshop and I wanted to become a better editor. My Sisters also recommended media studies and said it would be a Hard subject but i will enjoy it. Hopefully by the end of the year I will be achieving the best grade possible. Another reason I chose media studies is because it's around me in my life outside of school for example Phones,Internet,Gaming, TV.



My First Media Studies Lesson/evaluating my work.

In my first media lesson we introduced ourselves to each other. Then we went and planned a music magazine. My groups magazine was called ''urban jams'' we planned it out in the first part of the lesson and then we presented it on in front of the class. Overall I think my group did very well and I enjoyed my first media lesson.
